Our organization has 3 Unit locations for afterschool programs in Oklahoma: Miami, Fairland, and Commerce. We are looking for volunteers to assist at any of these locations by mentoring youth. This involves working one-on-one or with a very small (2-3) group of youth, and making a stong connection with them. As a mentor, you could play games, help your youth with homework, or just be an ear to listen to them.
For this opportunity, we are looking for stable, committed adults as youth will look up to and look forward to meeting with his/her mentor. We need adults to be able to commit at least one hour per week for at least one year.
