The Open Door Clinic is looking for experienced Medical Interpreters (Spanish/ English) to translate in our clinic.
The first three shifts will be to train and will be done in person. Volunteers must be local. Once trained, it will be a remote volunteer opportunity. This position is in response to the COVID restrictions. Stay safe in your household while volunteering. Signing up for a shift means you are available via phone to translate for our Spanish Speaking patients and the providers during Telehealth appointments.
Each shift is designated as time to be "on-call". If a provider needs your assistance you will be called or texted.
Scheduled Shifts
Mondays through Thursdays;
9-12, 1-4
Only evening shifts are Tuesdays and Thursdays 5-8pm.
We kindly ask for a commitment of a minimum of two shifts per month for at least a year.
3 Shifts
- morning / 09:00 AM to 11:45 AM
- afternoon / 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM
- evening / 05:00 PM to 08:00 PM
