The Communications Coordinator works with the Director and others in the organization to develop and implement communications strategies with Dignity for Divas community supporters, funders, prospective funders, and board members.
The Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are in marketing and communications in an effort to promote positive public image among Dignity for Divas s various audiences and advance Dignity for Divas s efforts to raise money.
- Support the development and execution of identity and collateral materials for major organizational initiatives
Create and coordinate production schedules and maintain ongoing relationships with graphic designers, mail houses, printers, and photographers
Work with technology and ensure ongoing improvement of website, including phased updates and redesign
Work with a diverse team and obtains input as needed to meet needs across the organization
Monitor all social media for positive and negative feedback. Discuss feedback with CEO for management
Develop and implement social media plans to support agency goals and promote agency’s community events and fundraising efforts.
Manage Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest accounts and provide updates as necessary to leaders and Webmaster.
Upload videos, photo albums, etc. to website and Facebook
Write and post blog posts, Facebook posts, and pins to Pinterest Board daily or as determined to be needed or updated.
Take/edit photos, records amateur video and develops PowerPoint presentations. Attends events and captures video, photos, testimonials, etc. for posting. Collects same from staff and leaders.
