Road to Recovery Driver

The American Cancer Society is looking for a Volunteer Road to Recovery Coordinator. This position oversees all transportation requests for cancer patients in the FNSB communities. We will provide training and close staff support!

Using your laptop or home computer, you'll get requests for rides from our main call center regarding patients in the Golden Heart City and North Star Borough. You'll email these requests to our list of volunteer drivers, and when they accept a request, you'll send it in!

-Receives requests for transportation and assigns drivers to fulfill those requests.

-Helps to promote the Road to Recovery program in the Fairbanks area.

-Volunteer must be organized, good communication skills, punctual in responding to requests. Email and phone skills necessary.

This position is flexible, and easy to do from home or work with internet access. We are looking for someone enthusiastic, detail oriented, willing to dedicate about an hour a day during our busy season. Your help can literally save lives as you help patients get to life-saving treatment!!

*This position is focused on and located in the Fairbanks North Star Borough.
