Hospice of Santa Barbara has volunteer opportunities available for compassionate individuals interested in providing emotional, social and practical support to people with a life-threatening illness and their families. Patient Care Volunteers play a vital role as part of the Hospice of Santa Barbara Team. Our Spring Volunteer Training will be held on six consecutive Wednesdays from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm starting April 10th, 2024.

Hospice of Santa Barbara is the second oldest "hospice" in the U.S., and is a relationship centered hospice program. Our free program integrate multiple healing experiences while raising the community's consciousness about the emiotional, social, and aspiritual healing opportunities death and grief present.
