LOVE to talk to people, share stories about the City of Baytown, your kiddie adventures at the Brunson Theater or just want to give back some time to your community as a volunteer in a cheerful and pleasant environment? We are looking for YOU! No experience needed to volunteer. Bilingual English/Spanish or ASL is a plus. We are also Deaf Friendly and welcome deaf volunteers to apply. Training provided. Come join our Heart for Baytown Tourism Volunteer Team at the Visitor Information Center located at the newly restored Brunson Theater on Texas Avenue. Tourism Volunteers can contribute to the Tourism Volunteer Program in several ways:

  • Greeting visitors at the Visitor Center Lobby.
  • Taking part in community outreach or public speaking to local organizations, or/and
  • Taking a shift to promote a tourism table or display at tradeshows, sales blitzes and expos.

Couples can take a romantic trip to Yepez Vineyard or enjoy top performances at the Lee College Performing Arts Center and the Baytown Little Theater. For an adrenaline rush, festivals, concerts or NHRA look no further than Houston Raceway Park which hosts exciting events year round. Want to visit all of Baytown's fun locations in a unique way, try out our Awards Winning GeoTour and geocache Baytown. Our GeoTour is also Deaf Friendly with a link to descriptions in ASL. If it is art you love, make sure to visit our Downtown Art's District featuring our Sculpture Trail, murals, the Art League and our Art Venture.
