Sewing Memory Bears and Pillows Volunteer, for the Bereaved

Do you love to sew items for other people to make them smile?
Enrich the lives of our bereaved families by making Memory Bears and Pillows!
We are currently looking for volunteers to help make Memory bears and Pillows!
All of the supplies are provided to you, we just need your unique craft!
You designate how many bears you would like to make and make them at your own speed!
If you're not into bear, ask about our other programs involving your sewing skills!
Our office is located in Irwin, PA and we serve patients throughout all of Westmoreland County,
the eastern part of Allegheny County, and sections of Fayette County.

ProMedica / Heartland Hospice is a special kind of care designed to provide comfort care as well as spiritual and emotional support for individuals in the final phase of a terminal illness.
Hospice focuses on enhancing the quality of life, rather than length of life. It neither hastens nor postpones death; it affirms life and regards dying as a normal process.
The hospice program stresses human values beyond the physical needs of the patient. Hospice ensures patients spend their final days in dignity and comfort. ProMedica / Heartland Hospice's program utilizes a team approach to meet the physical, social and spiritual needs of our patients and their families.
