PRS Administration Office in Oakton is seeking a volunteer for their Human Resource Department to assist with administrative tasks.

Duties:

  • Duties are general office activities including copying, preparing files, assembling packets, Personal file maintenance and compliance
  • Filing
  • Performing data entry
  • Preparing files for storage according to PRS’ record retention policies
  • Auditing Employee Files
  • Perform basic research on various topics via internet

Qualifications:

  • Should be familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint a plus!.)
  • Prior experience working in an office environment
  • Interest in Human Resources
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Volunteer should have good judgment
  • Understands the confidentiality of HR work paperwork and access

Commitment:

1 day per week for 4 hours. Office is open between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Vernon, VA, and residential sites throughout Northern Virginia, HopeLink offers a comprehensive array of programs including the Recovery Academy, Community Housing, Employment Services and Community Support Services, and CrisisLink, a 24/7 suicide prevention and crisis intervention hotline and textline.
