The Fundraising Volunteer will assist the Executive Director with creating and monitoring a strategic plan for fundraising programs and events for the year. You will research events and design creative fundraising opportunities throughout the year. The volunteer will also seek corporate sponsors and other forms of donations from the community, our existing donor base
Specific Tasks:
Experience in event planning
Experience in fundraising
Strong Organizational Skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Community outreach promoting fundraising events, program celebrations and site tours
Ability to work Independently with attention to detail
Personable and professional demeanor and appearance with excellent communication, coordinating and networking skills

Our organization helps women identify and overcome barriers to success, creating a plan to surpass her own unique challenges. With the support of a skilled case manager and a dedicated mentor, she will have all the tools needed to fulfill her journey of becoming whole and healthy. Life skills classes are designed to address the key issues facing women in a period of transition. Assistance and resources are provided free of cost to find safe housing and successful re-entry into the workforce. Our organization is filled with passionate women who create the safe environment needed for our clients to grow and reach their fullest potential.
