Sylvan Dale is made up of 3,200 acres some of it is protected land and surrounded by National Forest. For many students who visit they’ve never been hiking. Help teach them hiking etiquette, what to be cautious of, and about their surroundings. Shape the next generation of nature lovers! (No previous teaching experience needed).
The Heart-J Center provides hands-on learning for all ages within the beautiful setting of historic Sylvan Dale Ranch. We offer a broad array of field trips, workshops, retreats, and scientific research, all making the most of Sylvan Dale’s unique location and beautiful setting. In addition to our schedule of educational events, we welcome partnerships with nonprofit groups, educational institutions, and others interested in working with us to create customized learning experiences. Our volunteers help us make it all happen.
Email us for more info, we'd love to meet you!
