Give primary school kids an opportunity of a lifetime by assisting our horse expert with her Horse Psychology class. Students learn about why horses are therapuetic and empathetic. For the majority of the students they've never been up close and personal with a horse. You will hold the horse's lead, ensure students are safe and answer questions (orientation and training will be provided).
The Heart-J Center for Experiential Learning provides hands-on learning for all ages within the beautiful setting of historic Sylvan Dale Ranch. We offer a broad array of field trips, workshops, retreats, and scientific research, all making the most of Sylvan Dale’s unique location and beautiful setting. In addition to our schedule of educational events, we welcome partnerships with nonprofit groups, educational institutions, and others interested in working with us to create customized learning experiences. Our volunteers help us make it all happen!
