If you understand the importance of orienting yourself in the wilderness, why not share that knowledge with youth? You can be an instructor or assistant instructor, depending on your knowledge and comfortability. (No previous teaching experience required.)
The Heart-J Center provides hands-on learning for all ages within the beautiful setting of historic Sylvan Dale Ranch. We offer a broad array of field trips, workshops, retreats, and scientific research, all making the most of Sylvan Dale’s unique location and beautiful setting.
In addition to our schedule of educational events, we welcome partnerships with nonprofit groups, educational institutions, and others interested in working with us to create customized learning experiences. Our volunteers help make everything happen!
