2017 Homework Help
Youth and volunteer tutors working together on homework during the after-school program, Homework Help.

We are currently looking for individuals willing to make a commitment to working with our youth in our various after school programs. Times and days are flexible.

1. Homework Assistance/Tutoring: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, And Thursdays from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Students meet with qualified volunteers for help with their homework, prepare for tests and quizzes, and any general school related assignments.

2. Reading Recovery Program: Mondays and Tuesdays from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Students meet with volunteers and instructors for one hour of reading practice, comprehension, vocabulary, and writing. Very successful and popular program here and in need of more qualified helpers.

3. Math Connection: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm (classroom)

Students meet with volunteers and instructors for one hour and complete practice math problems and assignments using various worksheets, games and materials.

The more tutors and volunteers we have helping out in any capacity lowers the student to teacher ratio, which we strive for!
