Recruiting Boys & Girls, Ages 9-18, with a love and passion for dancing. Some dance training in hip hop, jazz, ballet, ballroom etc is helpful, but not required. Looking for dancing kids who take direction well, speak well, are a team player, and love to perform. The children will be partnering child wheelchair dancers in class and upcoming performances in a professional environment. Though I am posting this on a volunteer site, the able-bodied kids are not volunteers of the group, but rather equals to the kids with disabilities. Note, we do not sign school credit hours for the dancing hours, however, if we'd be happy to provide assistant administrative work to cover those hours in addition to the dance hours.

Mission Statement
To break artistic and social barriers through excellence and innovation in wheelchair dance performance
Description
Our dance base is ballroom partner dancing and other commercial dance genres, and our focus lies in the following areas:
1. Performance: Producing and presenting professional wheelchair dance performances of the highest levels of artistry resulting in an inspired, enriched, and inclusive global community
2. Cultivation: Give wheelchair dancers (of all ages) the opportunity to reach their full artistic potential through dance training and performance in an inclusive environment of wheelchair and ambulatory dancers
3. Community Outreach: Delivering dance instruction to an underrepresented group of wheelchair and power-chair users, in an inclusive environment of wheelchair and ambulatory dancers of all ages.
4. Education: Developing a comprehensive wheelchair dance teacher training program. Creating an universal language of wheelchair social dancing.
