The City of Fort Collins Healthy Homes program invites you to participate in the annual Master Home Educator training. The Healthy Homes Program offers free assessments to Fort Collins residents to identify pollutants in the home that could potentially make them sick or unsafe (i.e. asthma triggers, fire hazards, radon, carbon monoxide, mold, etc.).

Master Home Educators are a fundamental and vital element in responding to the individual and family health needs of the community.

Prospective Master Home Educators are expected to complete 6 sessions of comprehensive training on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays (September 3 - 12, 2019) from 5pm-8pm. ** Dinner Provided**

After completing the training, the program requires that you complete 2 home health assessments each month in the coming year.

The class is limited to 15 participants.

Healthy Homes looks for diverse, especially bilingual, individuals who are committed to actively participating in the training sessions and joining the City to improve the health for all Fort Collins residents.

A list of training dates and more information can be found at:

"The Master Home Educator Training offered a wealth of information and data that effectively prepared me and a full team of new Master Home Educators to conduct in-home health assessments for homeowners and renters."
