Farmers' Market Volunteer Sign Up

Friends of The Family Garden,

This year we have an exciting opportunity to host the children's activity at the Boulder County Farmers' Market - Longmont! The Family Garden will be sharing an activity each week, for 33 weeks, with young guests and their families!

To make this really fun and a smashing success, we are reaching out to invite you to volunteer with The Family Garden! Volunteers will help us to share an activity with guests at our market booth, each Saturday from April through November. Volunteer spots are 2, 4, or 6 hours long, and using "VolunteerSpot", you are welcome to choose the dates and times that work for you! For each two-hour volunteer session, you will receive a certificate for one free Family Garden class.

Like The Family Garden, the Boulder County Farmers’ Market (BCFM) is a nonprofit. BCFM has provided producer-only farmers’ markets in Colorado for 29 years! Today, the markets serve as community gathering events, provide nourishment to neighbors, boost sustainable agriculture and support the local economy. Volunteering with The Family Garden is another amazing way to enjoy your time with BCFM while providing the family-fun and education our community knows and loves!

The activities shared by The Family Garden will incorporate learning and fun from four main areas: Farming, Agriculture, Nutrition, and the Arts. This is an amazing opportunity not only to share the wonderful classes, workshops, and events we present at The Family Garden, and to enjoy BCFM this summer, but also for each volunteer to share your talents and specialties.

By volunteering, you will help to complete the missions of The Family Garden and BCFM within our community!

To sign up, we're using VolunteerSpot (the leading online Sign-up and reminder tool) to organize our upcoming Sign-ups.

Here's how it works in 3 easy steps:
