Seeking Social Media/Marketing
Develop skills in communications, enjoy local Irish and Irish-American culture and arts, and assist with projects including a major Irish Writers’ Festival held in October.
Activities include social media outreach, community relationship building, and event monitoring in the Irish and Irish-American communities in the Bay Area. Development of specific marketing and sponsorship campaigns.
Good communication skills and a working knowledge of social media and Wordpress (not essential as happy to train in WP). Irish Culture Bay Area is releasing an app event guide in 2018.
An interest in literature, arts, theater, music, dance helpful. Happy to work with an individual, pair or team.
Perks include concert and event tickets, recommendation letters, and college credits per university or department guidelines.

Promoting Irish Arts and Culture in the Bay Area Irish Culture Bay Area is a community events website and calendar presenting a comprehensive "what’s on" around the Bay Area in the Irish arts and culture arena.
Description
Irish Culture Bay Area is a platform to promote music, dance, art, theater, literature, sports and business in one place. In addition to a community calendar, sponsored by the Irish Consulate General of San Francisco, the site features curated arts highlights and feature articles to further promote and inform visitors to the site.
Irish Culture Bay Area presents a major Irish Writers' Festival in Los Gatos, October 12-14, 2018.
