TimeLine’s largest fundraiser - and biggest party - of the season is just around the corner, and we need your help to make it a success!

We invite you to celebrate TimeLine’s unique mission by stepping into another era for an unforgettable evening that raises funds vital to our work. We’re returning to 1983, when escapism was essential and bigger was always better-big hair, big shoulders, big personalities ... and big aspirations! Steve Jobs spoke of one day creating a "computer in a book that you can carry around with you," Oprah moved to Chicago to host a new morning talk show, and "Pioneer 10" became the first human-made object to leave our solar system. Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Elton John, Billy Joel, and David Bowie were making waves, and a revolutionary new album was taking the world by storm-Michael Jackson’s iconic Thriller-still the highest grossing album of all time. Join us to celebrate opulent ’83, and let’s dance!

We’ll celebrate TimeLine with spirits to set the mood, a raffle and silent auction with one-of-a-kind prizes, a seated gourmet dinner, and extraordinary entertainment created just for this event! There are a number of volunteer opportunities the day of the event. If you are interested in volunteering, please review the volunteer shift information below. If you are unable to volunteer, but know some stellar individuals who may be interested, please feel free to pass along this information.

Step Into Time Volunteer Shift Information

Date: Friday, March 16, 2018

Time: See shift breakdowns below. (Event: 6-10:30pm.)

Location: The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago

At Water Tower Place

160 East Pearson Street

Chicago, IL 60611

Shift A: 10:00am - 4:30pm

• Lunch provided
• Responsibilities: on-site event setup
• Attire: casual clothing and comfortable shoes that permit movement and may get dirty

Shift B: 4:00pm - 11:59pm

• Dinner provided
• Responsibilities: event assistance and on-site event cleanup.
• Attire: professional cocktail or 1977-inspired attire for the duration of the event AND casual, comfortable clothing for event cleanup

Shift C: 10:00am - 11:59pm

• Lunch AND dinner provided
• Responsibilities: experience ALL of the action, from setup through cleanup!
• Attire: casual, comfortable clothing for setup/clean-up AND professional cocktail or 1977-inspired attire for event
