ORGANIZATION: American Cancer Society B. Thomas Golisano Hope Lodge Hospitality House

  • 8 people are interested

Guests of the B. Thomas Golisano Hope Lodge Hospitality House are often with us and away from their homes for several weeks at a time. After they return to "the Lodge" from their treatments at the hospitals they are looking for things to do. We have started an Arts & Crafts corner in one of our public areas with the simplest of crafts... adult coloring books, but we would like to add other crafts. For example: Beading, kniting, knick knack painting etc.

There is not a budget to speak of, so materials for crafts must be donated or kept to the bare minimum.

Volunteer does not need to come in every day, but simple come up with a weekly project, obtain the materials, make up instructions and a sample, and then set up the craft corner.
