Make a real difference in someone's life! Great Lakes Caring Hospice, a leading care provider in the Midwest, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families.
These volunteers will visit patients in local nursing facilities or in private homes. The Companion Volunteer will provide companionship, play cards/games, watch TV, take the patient out into the garden area for fresh air, read to the patient. We also have additional administrative opportunities available in our home office. Contact Linda for additional information!
Hours are very flexible, weekdays, evenings or weekends. Typically, we ask that you visit your assigned patient as often as you want at least 1 to 2 hours a week.
