The City of Belmont is holding its annual Rail Trail 5K race at Belmont Abbey College. We are seeking volunteers to assist with on-site registration, water stations, and course guides. The race starts at 8:30 am and is typically over by 10:00 am. The Belmont Rail Trail project is a greenway that will be built beside the railroad tracks that run from Belmont Abbey College to downtown Belmont. It wil offer safe and convenient pedestrian and bicycle connection between the college and downtown.
