If you are looking to have a positive impact and fruitful experience interacting with others, Heartland Hospice could be a place for you.
We provide comfort care to those who are nearing the end of their lives. Sometimes this comfort involves friendly visitors to interact with our patients in a variety of manners to give a patient a sense of hope, encouragement, and contentment.
As a friendly visitor volunteer, you may have the opportunity to provide companionship for these patients through reading to them, accompanying them to various games and activities within their community, doing arts and crafts, providing music, or simply sitting and visiting with them. It's a chance to be creative for the good of others.

Description
ProMedica Hospice provides care wherever you call home: in your house, a skilled nursing center, an assisted living facility or independent living facility. Our caregivers help create individualized care plans, set personal goals, and manage pain and symptoms. Every patient is different. With different challenges, different needs, different family and friends. So the care we give each patient is different. We treat the patient and family as a whole, providing services for body, mind, and spirit.
