About Chelsea Farmers Market
Location:
1515 Commerce Park Dr., Chelsea, MI 48118, US
Mission Statement
The farmers market will cultivate a commitment to quality local products and produce in a pleasant, easily accessible location by offering goods that will enrich our community through environmentally conscious and healthy food choices, social exchange and economic growth.
Description
The Chelsea Farmers Market and Bushel Basket Markets have provided quality products from fresh produce to hand-made crafts to the City of Chelsea and surrounding communities for over 20 years. There are many opportunities to increase the strength, diversity and educational opportunities that the markets can offer, so we can continue our role as business incubator for new craft and food business owners in this community. We provide economic stimulus to the community through grant dollars, training for vendors and marketing for these great local businesses, and recruiting new businesses to join our market and improve the variety and diversity of what we offer. Markets take place Wednesdays on the corner of M52 and Old US 12 from 2-6pm and Saturdays in the municipal lot on Park St. from 8am-1pm May - October, and in the winter months - location TBD.
