  • Meet with a youth at your workplace for one hour

  • Share helpful information with them about your current position, employer and related industry

  • Inform youth about the career path you took to get to your current role; including the challenges and rewards you’ve experienced

Long-Term Career Mentor:

  • Meet with a young person at least twice a month (approximately six to eight hours a month) for a year commitment

  • Develop a one-on-one relationship with this youth , supporting them in their career path

  • Prior to mentoring, you will participate in a four-hour Mentor Training to help you better prepare for your Career Mentor role
