Volunteers prepare the horses for the lessons by grooming and tacking. During lessons volunteers lead horses or act as sidewalkers for those riders whose balance is tenuous. At this time lessons are held on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Volunteers choose the day and amount of time they wish to donate. Come with desire, we will train you.

We accomplish our mission by providing recreational, educational, and sport programming, including vocational/prevocational opportunities, to youth at risk and persons with disabilities. Individuals are accepted without regard to race, religion, ethnicity, or socioeconomic background. Our funding comes from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
