NEMCSA is looking to enroll older adult volunteers (Age 55+) who are willing to assist children in supervised settings such as schools, Head Start centers, youth centers, etc. by providing special attention and academic support. Volunteer receive a non-taxable stipend of $2.65 an hour; mileage to and from school; in-service trainings with a lunch provided; annual physical exam and recognition for their years of service. Volunteers must serve an average of 20 hours of service per week. Propsective volunteers must undergo a criminal background history check and meet income guidelines.
