We are looking for mentors for our K-12 Communities In Schools students! Mentors help youth with goal-setting, positive life skills, staying on track in school, and exploring colleges and careers. CIS of Durham serves four elementary schools (E.K. Powe, Eno Valley, Glenn, & Merrick-Moore), one middle school (Shepard), and one high school (Durham Performance Learning Center). Most mentoring takes place during the school day (9 AM - 3:30 PM for elementary, 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM for middle, 9am-12pm on Fridays for high school). Durham Public Schools background check required.
