About Us: Reach for Resources is a non-profit organization that helps individuals with disabilities and mental illness to reach their full potential! For over 25 years, Reach has been offering community living support, mental health support, and adaptive recreation to empower individuals with disabilities to develop a healthy level of self-reliance and live as independently as possible in their community. The Bowl-A-Thon Fundraiser is a vital event that provides funding for these services.
About the Bowl-A-Thon: The 28th Annual Bowl-A-Thon is a FUNdraiser in which participants collect pledges and get together to bowl two games and win prizes! Reach is looking for Virtual Lane Assistants! As a Lane Assistant you will cheer on the bowler(s), hold conversations with bowlers as well as assist in any way possible. Being a Lane Assistant is what makes the Bowl-A-Thon special for the participants and volunteers. Lane Assistants are a part of Reach's mission to have people with disabilities experience full community inclusion.
- As a volunteer, you will help promote social interaction as well as participate in all activities with the participants to enhance the overall experience!
- Volunteers will need access to internet as well as a computer/tablet/phone.
