ORGANIZATION: I Support Adoptions

  • 18 people are interested

Our small-scale nonprofit was created to give grants to married couples who want to adopt children and find the financial piece challenging. We have been gifting grants since our inception in 2008. Most of our networking is done via the internet and therefore the presentation of our website is vital. We are in process of overhauling the site and need an experienced IT programmer or web designer. Please view the I SupportAdoptions website at: isupportadoptions.org

A volunteer programmer had been developing the website using PHP primarily because it has widely used programming language that is free and is available on many platforms. A new programmer can build on what the previous volunteer created. The minimum qualifications for a web designer would be HTML5, CSS3, and PHP. Depending on the web designer's vision for the site, additional skills may be required. Your expertise and input for the site are most welcome!

Mission Statement

I Support Adoptions (ISA) advocates for the quality of life and well-being that every child deserves through adoption support, both financial and emotional, education about the needs of vulnerable children and the connecting of resources to achieve our goals.

Description

I Support Adoptions (ISA) was founded in 2008 as a stand-alone, 501(c)(3) non-profit, service ministry, when two sisters became passionate about wiping out the divide between the needs of orphans with the financial barriers some families faced in pursuing adoption. Our ministry has since evolved into an understanding of the needs of at-risk children worldwide and the ability to connect the vulnerable with resources to enable them to live the life they have a right to.
