Primary Objective of Position
Greet and direct WorkForce Center visitors, answer multi-line telephone, provide clerical support to the agency and to the WorkForce Center Partners. Provide client assistance in resource room. The receptionist represents the agency to the public.
Responsibilities
Greet WorkForce Center visitors in a friendly professional manner
Help direct clients to designated areas
Maintain confidentiality of customers and visitors to the WFC
Answer multi-line telephone
Open and process daily mail
Label, record, copy, and duplicate information following original content and format
Assist with faxing and making copies for clients
Miscellaneous projects as assigned (mailings, stocking paper, wiping tables, etc.)
Provide Resource Room coverage as necessary (varies by location)
Schedule conference rooms (varies by location)
Support: Training for this position will be provided. In addition, the Development Manager/Volunteer Coordinator will be available for questions and assistance.
Age Requirement: 16+
Dress Code: Business Casual

Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services, Inc. (CMJTS) is a nonprofit employment and training agency and a partner in the Minnesota WorkForce Center System. Our mission is to match job seekers, youth, businesses, and those seeking training with the resources available to them. CMJTS is a partner of Workforce Service Area 5 which serves 11 counties in Central Minnesota, including Meeker, McLeod, Renville, Kandiyohi, Kanabec, Wright, Sherburne, Mille Lacs, Isanti, Chisago, and Pine Counties.
Since our beginning in 1984 as Private Industry Council 5, CMJTS has been passionate about providing quality training and job placement services to our customers in central Minnesota. Throughout our 11-county region, job seekers-adults, youth, entry-level, career-changers, low-income, and dislocated workers-count on us for professional career guidance based on their individual circumstances, economic self-sufficiency needs, and local labor market demands.
