Research has found that those who volunteer are happier and healthier physically, mentally and emotionally. Seek out an opportunity that is right for you. Underground Railroad, Inc. is in need of volunteers to join us in the work we do in providing programs and services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Helping the staff in the agency owned Resale Store on State St. The store is a resource for those we serve and the sale of donated items generates unrestricted funds for the agency's use.
- Assist with posting items for sale to eBay.
- Pulling weeds, planting flowers, cleaning and painting at the Safety Center and Admin Offices.
Week day, evening and weekend opportunities abound.
Individuals and groups welcome.
