Join the ProMedica Heartland Hospice Volunteer Team!

Share your gifts and talents with ProMedica Heartland Hospice patients. The Hospice Volunteer is called to provide companionship and presence to patients and families during the patient's end of life journey. Hospice volunteers provide friendly visits with patients for a comforting presence, interacting activities, reading, music or spiritual involvement. Help to make our patients feel that someone loves them by sharing your time.

ProMedica Heartland Hospice allows you the flexibility to volunteer at facilities or patients' homes in Lake County

Hospice is a special kind of care designed to provide comfort care as well as emotional support for patients and families of patients with terminal illness. We focus on enhancing the quality life and focuses on human values that go beyond the physical needs of the patient. We ensure that patients spend their final days in dignity and comfort. Volunteers are an integral part of the team approach we use to meet these needs.
