Patient Support Leads are volunteers who provide information and assistance to cancer patients. Volunteers lead promotion and recruitment efforts of American Cancer Society patient support programs at local events reaching people in the communities they live. Some examples of responsbilities include: attend American Cancer Society events to recruit volunteers, speak about the benefits of volunteering for the American Cancer Society, work with churches to provide information for their weekly bulletins, etc.
