JA student
This program was JA Ourselves for kindergartens.

A Junior Achievement volunteer is a person who enjoys working with students, and would like to present valuable lessons in the classroom on a variety of topics, including financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. The JA classroom volunteer uses materials and lesson plans that are fully developed by Junior Achievement. Volunteering as a JA consultant involves 5 to 8 visits to a classroom (depending on the program taught), and each visit lasts between 30 (Elementary) and 60 minutes (High School).
Volunteers have the opportunity for input regarding the location of the school with which they would like to participate, as well as the grade level of the students (JA serves grades K-12). All volunteers are fully trained by the JA staff.
Volunteers coordinate their volunteer dates and times with the teacher, and the classroom teacher is always present in the classroom to assist you with your presentations. Please help us give young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. Let their success be your inspiration!
