PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Transportation of blood & blood products to hospitals throughout the Norfolk and surrounding areas in a safe and timely manner. Drivers (Transportation Specialists) use Red Cross-provided cars or vans.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Variable; preferred commitment: 2 - 4 shifts per month. Four hours per shift.
REQUIRED TRAINING- Orientation to American Red Cross
- Defensive Driving course
- Transportation Specialist Training
- On the job training
