PLACEMENT PURPOSE
A Fundraising Events Volunteer assists the American Red Cross development team with fundraising events and/or promotion of fundraising events at various locations to increase visibility and understanding of the American Red Cross and its fundraising events throughout the region.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Be available to attend fundraising events during business hours and on evenings and weekends; event shifts may range in time from 1-4 hours. ｠Flexibility of schedule within business hours for meetings in preparation for upcoming events; 4 hours/week.
- Orientation to American Red Cross
- Familiarity with Red Cross Mission, Vision, Values
- Event Outreach Training
- Onjobtraining to support events such as Red Cross Ball, Ride for the Red, and Heroes Breakfast
