ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross - National Capital & Greater Chesapeake Region

PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Assist Red Cross in delivering mission by preventing and alleviating human suffering caused by disasters.

OPEN TIME DAYS

  • Approximately 68 hours per week during daytime, weekday hours (MondayFriday 8a5p). This needs split into at least two shifts per week.
  • Choose your own schedule within the above specified hours.
  • Ability to work from home once trained.
REQUIRED TRAINING

* Orientation to the American Red Cross
* Disaster Cycle Services and Overview

* You will move from \"trainee status\" to \"responder status\" once you gain experience as an effective caseworker for at least 10 primary clients
