A Guardian looks after guests and ensures that the guests are taking care during their tour. Guardians also look after the palace collections by ensuring guests refrain from touching cultural resources and sitting on the historic chairs. He/she is a gracious host or hostess through the palace’s stately halls, exuding hospitality and aloha with words, gestures, and expressions.
