At Saddle Brook Farm Animal Rescue, we create an interactive learning experience between humans and a variety of formerly homeless animals. Through volunteer and enrichment programs, we offer children and adults affordable ways to learn to ride horses and care for animals. We are also developing a program for children with special needs that will include zoo therapy as well as horesemanship.
Saddle Brook Farm Animal Rescue is a safe haven for many animals. Our current rescued animal family includes 29 horses, 9 alpacas, 1 llama, 2 emus, 1 pig, 1 goat, 1 mule, 1 zonkey (zebra/donkey cross), and numerous chickens, cats and dogs.
Volunteers can be given a number of tasks to do, that include but are not limited too: feeding, watering, tacking, sweeping, cleaning horse stalls, and indoor arena/med pen.
