At Saddle Brook Farm Animal Rescue, we create an interactive learning experience between humans and a variety of formerly homeless animals. Through volunteer and enrichment programs, we offer children and adults affordable ways to learn to ride horses and care for animals. We are also developing a program for children with special needs that will include zoo therapy as well as horesemanship.
Saddle Brook Farm Animal Rescue is a safe haven for many animals. Our current rescued animal family includes 7 horses, 3 alpacas, 2 emus,3 goats, 1 cow, 2 bunnies and numerous chickens, cats and dogs.
Volunteers can be given a number of tasks to do, that include but are not limited too: feeding, watering, tacking, sweeping, cleaning horse stalls, and indoor arena/med pen.

Description
Through volunteer and enrichment programs, we offer children and adults affordable ways to learn to ride horses and care for animals. We are also developing a program for children with special needs that will include zoo therapy as well as horesemanship.
We rescued our first horse, Brook, in 2006, and named the farm after her. Since then, we have rehabilitated over 50 horses, some of whom became schoolmasters in our education programs, and some who went on to forever homes with students who fell in love with them. Saddle Brook Farm Animal Rescue is also a safe haven for many other animals. Our current rescued animal family includes 29 horses, 9 alpacas, 1 llama, 2 emus, 1 pig, 1 goat, 1 mule, 1 zonkey (zebra/donkey cross), and numerous chickens, cats and dogs.
All expenses for the rescue animals were intially funded out of the general farm budget. in July 2014, we were granted 501c3 status as a nonprofit corporation. We are now seeking tax-deductible donations of supplies and funds, of ehich, 100% of donations recieved go directly to the care of the formerly homeless animals. Saddle Brook Farm Animal Rescue is respectfully requesting assistance and contributions for our on-going efforts to rescue abandoned and neglected animals.
