SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes is looking for volunteers to assist at the Basketball Tournament on Sunday March 17, 2019 from 9am-5pm at the Francis Parker School and other nearby gyms.
During competition volunteers will serve as scorekeepers and/or timers or help as team aides. Qualified volunteers are also needed to referee. Lunch is provided. Volunteers are also needed for setting up and taking down all the equipment before & after the tournament. Volunteers may be assigned to one of the offsite venues. We expect to have play on 7-8 courts, with 2 at Parker, 2 at University of San Diego Sports Center, 1-2 at Linda Vista Rec Center and 2 at Kearny Mesa Rec Center. Everyone initially checks in at Parker. Ideally, we would like volunteers to help the full day, however, recognize that doesn't work for everyone, so would request a 4 hour minimum commitment, 9am-1pm and 1-5pm.
