If you want to get your animal out to socialize and to share with Senior patients, then this is the place for you!!! Our Pet Visitation program allows you to meet with terminally ill Seniors and to share your best friend to bring them smiles, joy and much needed kisses! We require that your animal be at least 2 years old and be able to respond to simple commands. Your animal will go through a simple and short evaluation process to help us determine if they are right for this program. Many of our patients have had animals all their lives and miss the comfort and connection that comes from having an animal around. This program is designed to fill that need and give our patients opportunities to build friendships with you and a bond with your best friend.

The mission of Hospice Services at Methodist ElderCare is to provide the best hospice care possible for patients located in the counties of Fairfield, Franklin. Pickaway, Delaware, Licking, Fayette, Union, and Madison.
Description
The philosophy of services focuses on maximizing the patients quality of life through an individualized comprehensive care program designed to meet his/her physical,social,emotional and spiritual needs (24) hours a day, (7) days a week. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team of staff and volunteers. In addition, following the patients death, hospice continues to maintain contact with family members through a (13) month bereavement program.
