Next to owning a dog, there is nothing more enjoyable or rewarding than fostering an animal in your home. Pet Placement Center is in need of dog/puppy fosters for 2 weeks to 2 months depending on the indivdual animal's situation. Pet Placement Center will provide all of the supplies (food, medication etc.) and you provide your home, time and love.
Foster families allow our shelter to rescue more dogs than our facility can accommondate. You are providing them the security from their current situation in preparation of their forever home.
It is very important to have puppies in a foster home for socialization and their health. Training on puppy protocol will be given to the foster family.
Please open up your heart and home to a wonderful dog/puppy. You will enjoy meeting so many beautiful dogs/puppies and help them on their journey to a forever home.

Description
The Tennessee Humane Animal League is a 501(c)3 organization devoted to the placement of homeless or surrendered animals through The Pet Placement Center (PPC). The PPC survives entirely on donations and fundraising activities. We are the oldest no-kill animal adoption center in Hamilton County. The PPC is a private adoption center and does not contract with the city of county for animal control. Once an animal comes to the Pet Placement Center (s)he will remain safe with us until adopted into a responsible permanent home.
