Do you love plants, local history, and working with the public? Do you have experience in ticket sales, admissions or retail? Lakewold Gardens, a National Historic Site featuring extensive botanical collections, is currently seeking new Garden Shop Volunteers to join our team for the 2017 season. The garden shop position is a three hour shift, twice monthly from April-September in the Garden Shop, Admissions Office and Nursery.
The role involves orienting visitors for their self-guided tours, assisting with garden shop sales, and plant care. Training occurs in February and March to fully prepare you for the season ahead.
If you are interested in learning more, we invite you to attend our Garden Shop and Nursery Orientation on Thursday February 16th at 2pm. You can RSVP at http://signup.com/go/1V9Me2.
More information on this and other volunteer positions can be found at www.lakewoldgardens.org/volunteering.html. Our online application can also be found at the bottom of that page.
