Encompass works with several Spanish-speaking families and needs assistance with Spanish translation. Volunteer opportunities include acting as a translator during parent-teacher conferences or family support meetings, or translating flyers and documentation into Spanish. Volunteers may also be interested in providing translating services during evening parent-education classes.
Volunteers should be fluent in Spanish. This is an ideal opportunity for students in upper-level Spanish courses to get additional exposure in a real-world setting.
New volunteers must complete an application process, including a background check and an orientation with the volunteer manager. For more information contact us at volunteer@encompassnw.org.

Description
Encompass is an independent, non-profit organization established in 1966 with a mission to build healthy foundations for children.
Our programs nurture both typical and developmentally challenged children, enrich families in all their diversity, and inspire community throughout the Snoqualmie Valley, Issaquah, Sammamish and the greater Eastside. Our focus is on children age birth to 8 and our core programs are early education, pediatric therapy, and family enrichment and support.
