Meals on Wheels delivers hot, well-balanced meals to the doors of seniors and other neighbors who are homebound because of disability or illness. By supporting their nutritional needs, this program helps participants maintain or improve their health, remain independent, and stay in their homes for as long as possible.
When you become a volunteer with NAM Meals on Wheels, you deliver more than just a nutritious meal because you provide a smiling face and a much needed human connection to seniors and disabled adults in Northwest Harris County. We rely on the ability of our volunteers to pick up and deliver hot meals (or frozen meals/groceries) to our clients from one of our three convenient locations listed below. Make a difference today by joining our team and becoming part of the change in this community! For more information about Meals on Wheels or to schedule your volunteer orientation, please visit our website or contact NAM’s Community Relations Coordinator at (281) 885-4604.
Note: Background checks/ orientation are required for new volunteers. Drivers must be 18 or older; passengers of all ages welcome.
