Mailings are the backbone of Connections, our largest program, and once a month we need help sending welcome letters to new babies born in Kent County!
This volunteer opportunity is 3-4 hours per month. You'll be needed around the 15th of each month, since that's when we receive the new baby information from the Kent County Health Department. You can either come in our office to stuff and seal the welcome letters, or you can pick up the materials and complete the stuffing and sealing of envelopes at home. You'd be stuffing around 650-700 envelopes at once, which is why it takes 3-4 hours!
If you have a child, you are welcome to bring them into the office with you while you volunteer! We have a kids playroom close to where you volunteer so that you can monitor them while you help us.
