Global Energy Network Institute (GENI) is non-profit company dedicated to research, educate and advocate renewable, sustainable energy grids. If you have graphics design skills and are looking for an opportunity to lend your expertise to a small, non-profit company, this is your opportunity. As graphic designer, you would provide in-house graphic support to create and deliver compelling design solutions for the web, social media, print collateral, promotional items and audio/visual broadcast. The ideal candidate is a team player with a clean, simple and engaging visual aesthetics. This is a part-time, volunteer (unpaid), in-office position. As a volunteer at GENI you will:

Desired skills and experience:
Four years of graphic design experience or combination of education and experience
Good understanding of fundamental design principles for web and print that affect typography, composition, color, use of space and hierarchy of information
Knowledge of print production process including experience with preparing pre-press files
Proficiency on Mac or PC platform, Adobe Creative Suite 4/5, Illustrator, Photoshop, Freehand
Background/knowledge of front-end web development a plus
