Applicantshould demonstrate the following skills:
Strong organizational skills & the ability to handle multiple projects & deadlines.
Strong Administrative skills including record keeping for social services
Working Knowledge of confidentiality & ethics along with crisis intervention strategies.
Clear verbal & written communication
Experience with MS Office & utilization of the internet.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Ability to relate on a non-judgmental, supportive basis to individuals with a wide range of issues
Knowledge about the dynamics of homelessness, substance abuse, & menal health issues
Ability to set objective, professional & personal boundaries with clients
Commitment to the principles of self-help & empowerment
Necessary to work as part of a team
Must have a car & valid driver's license, registration & insurance
