* Tax appointment schedulers make phone calls to prospective tax clients to set up appointments. The scheduler will ask several simple questions to determine eligibility, then make an appointment for the client. No prior knowledge of tax law is necessary. We will train.
Commitment:
Tax schedulers volunteer on site for 2-4 hours per week (times are generally flexible).
Requirements:
Volunteers must have a strong command of the English language and can be understood on the phone. The ability to speak Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is highly desirable.
