We are looking for volunteers ages 15 and older to assist with our athletic program at our club. You do not need to be a former professional or college athlete but should understand the rules. Coaches are required to volunteer two times a week for approximately 4 hours a week for the duration of each season.
Volunteer Coach Requirements:
- Experience playing the sport at the HS, college, or recreational club level helpful.
- Understanding of the sports rules.
- Able to conduct practices, drills, and games with school aged children and teens.
- Ability to represent the Boys & Girls Club in a professional and appropriate manner displaying proper coaching etiquette.
- Ability to use positive reinforcement to encourage beginner and intermediate athletes.
- Applicant must be 15 years and older and must undergo a background check.

Who We Serve
We serve 3,000 children and teens, ages 6 to 18, in our clubs and afterschool programs, and through our partnership with the Naples Children and Education Foundation and Florida’s 21st Century.
We offer a safe place for young people to learn, grow and develop ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals who support the educational, emotional, physical, vocational, character, and social development of our youth and provide them with the resources needed to become successful adults.
BGCCC offers award-winning programs to help youth build self esteem, devlop leadership skills, and consider values, and give back to their community.
Nearly 89% of members receive free or reduced lunch, 48% of members come from homes where English is not the primary spoken language, 38% of members live in single parent households, and 63% of members live at, or below, poverty level.
